Asian Glass

Koru Contemporary Art announces an exciting exhibition of Asian glass sculpture.

With works in a range of forms and styles, including the work of Donghai Guan, Sun Yi, (China) Kazumi Ikemoto, Etsuko Nishi, Hiroshi Yamano (Japan) Sunny Wang, (Hong Kong/Taiwan), and a love of glass media unifying them, this exhibition enables a dialogue between the artists and their work.

The joy each artist finds in working with a material, which commands the rigor of a scientist, but submits to the demands of an artist, is obvious in the diversity to be found in this exhibition, highlighting work by artists currently renegotiating the boundaries of contemporary glass art.
