Description
The vessels are inspired by walking on the beach in front of my home observing the marks made by water finding a feather long since abandoned by a sea bird Gulls wheel high in the sky over the ocean with the wind at their bellies and the sun on their backs - a wonderful symbol of freedom. These works are hand made, so giving the freedom to make the form move in three dimensions. The glaze is a slip over painted with manganese.
